The opening scene of Disney's Carousel of Progress which takes place at the turn of the century. The Carousel of Progress follows a typical American family as they evolve with the decades of the 20th century. The Carousel of Progress first premiered at the 1964 New York World's Fair and was an instant hit. There have been some updates to the show over the years but the core show remains pretty much the same as the original.
