THE FORT LAUDERDALE DOWNTOWNER by Mark Andrew Thomas

The historic Downtowner restaurant casts a luminescent glow along the New River in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. The Downtowner is one of Fort Lauderdale's oldest restaurants and originally opened in 1925. Still a very popular hangout for locals and tourists alike, the Downtowner also hosts parties, receptions, and other events in the Maxwell Room and also has a Sunday Brunch.

My name is Mark Andrew Thomas and I'm a photographer and filmmaker currently residing in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I grew up in Florida right next to the Everglades and although I photograph a wide variety of subjects and locations, the Florida Everglades will always be my first love.
