SPACESHIP EARTH by Mark Andrew Thomas

The centerpiece of Epcot is Spaceship Earth, a 180 foot high dome which houses the time travel ride of the same name. The ride takes passengers on a journey through time to see man's history from the cavemen to the present and the future beyond. Epcot opened in 1982 and also houses World Showcase which recreates Mexico, Norway, China,Japan, Italy, Morocco, France, and Canada. All of the countries represented offer authentic dining experiences and imports. Mexico and Norway also house dark rides with a new one coming soon to France based on the Disney film Ratatouille.

My name is Mark Andrew Thomas and I'm a photographer and filmmaker currently residing in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I grew up in Florida right next to the Everglades and although I photograph a wide variety of subjects and locations, the Florida Everglades will always be my first love.
