NORTH AMERICAN RIVER OTTER

A North American River Otter has the right idea as it takes a break from the Florida summer heat and goes for a swim in a small creek. This was photographed in Everglades National Park and these otters are always so much fun to watch. Caution should always be observed around otters however, they can go from playful to vicious without warning. They have a mouthful of razor-sharp teeth and aren't afraid to use them.
