Description
TREE OF LIFE IN DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM
The Tree of Life, standing tall at 145 feet, is a true marvel during the Tree of Life Awakenings show at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The show is a celebration of Disney's magic and is presented multiple times each night. The Tree of Life, a stunning 145-foot sculpture inspired by the baobab tree, is home to the 3D short film "It's Tough to be a Bug," featuring beloved characters from the Disney/Pixar film "A Bug's Life." The film is shown inside the massive trunk of the tree.
Since its opening in 1998, Disney's Animal Kingdom has been a popular destination for visitors looking to get up close and personal with hundreds of wild animal species from all over the world. The park was originally only open during the day, but in 2016, with the introduction of the new Avatar section, Animal Kingdom extended its hours and began staying open at night. The park is not only a fun experience but an educational one, offering visitors a chance to learn about animals and their habitats in a thrilling and immersive way.
