THE CONTEMPORARY RESORT AT WALT DISNEY WORLD A beautiful full moon rises over the Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. A Disney Ferryboat sails across the Seven Seas Lagoon carrying happy guests to and from the park. The Contemporary Resort is one of the original hotels that opened with the main park in 1971 along with the Polynesian Resort. Both hotels are located directly on the monorail loop along with the Grand Floridian Resort which opened in 1988. One of the unique features of the Contemporary Resort is that the Disney monorail passes directly through the inside of the Contemporary Resort giving passengers a quick look agt the inside of the resort as it passes above the restaurants and shops.
My name is Mark Andrew Thomas and I'm a photographer and filmmaker currently residing in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I grew up in Florida right next to the Everglades and although I photograph a wide variety of subjects and locations, the Florida Everglades will always be my first love.
