THE APPROACH OF HURRICANE IRMA
Storm begin to roll in over the St. Lucie River as Hurricane Irma approaches Florida. Hurricane Irma had a devastating effect on the entire state with the brunt of it going to Florida's southwest coast. Where I live in Fort Lauderdale the damage was mostly fences and landscaping in addition to losing power for 7 days. All things considered it could have been much worse for us had the initial forecast track been correct and brought it up through the metro Miami and Fort Lauderdale areas.

My name is Mark Andrew Thomas and I'm a photographer and filmmaker currently residing in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I grew up in Florida right next to the Everglades and although I photograph a wide variety of subjects and locations, the Florida Everglades will always be my first love.
