If you've ever taken a road trip up the Southeastern United States chances are you've stopped at the South of the Border roadside attraction. If you haven't then your parents or grandparents have. It has been a popular piece of Americana for over 60 years and its famous mascot "Pedro" seen in the photo is the official mascot of the attraction. Located in South Carolina just south of the North Carolina state line, South of the Border features dining, shopping, and even RV hookups and a motor inn for tired travelers.
