SAILING AT SUNRISE PANORAMA

A lone sailboat cruises along the waters of the Atlantic Ocean at sunrise just off of Fort Lauderdale Beach. Not 20 minutes later there were a least a dozen sailboats and yachts on the water which is actually a typical day in South Florida. Fort Lauderdale is widely recognized as the boating and yachting capital of the world. Luxury homes along the many waterways of Fort Lauderdale more often than not have a large yacht or a boat docked behind the home.

My name is Mark Andrew Thomas and I'm a photographer and filmmaker currently residing in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I grew up in Florida right next to the Everglades and although I photograph a wide variety of subjects and locations, the Florida Everglades will always be my first love.
