ROSEATE SPOONBILL LANDING

A Roseate Spoonbill comes in for a perfect landing in the Florida Everglades. The Roseate Spoonbill is one of my very favorite birds to photograph and this was a shot I'd been trying to get for years. It's all about timing and that's one of the things I love about wildlife photography, you never know what you'll get. Sometimes you get the shot and sometimes you don't but the thrill when you do finally get one is worth the wait.
