PORTRAIT OF A LADY
A beautiful bobcat poses for the camera in the wetlands of Florida. She was out with her kittens for about 30 minutes before retreating back into the woods. Bobcats are very hard to photograph in the wild and not seen very often. They are part of the Lynx family and can be seen all over are North America.
I was very lucky to have the opportunity to photograph this bobcat and even more lucky that she stayed in the same area for so long. This is one of my favorites out of all the photographs I've taken. Every once in awhile I'll come back to this photo and seeing this beautiful mother bobcat surrounded by lush greenery brings me right back to a day I'll never forget.
