PLANET EVERGLADES
One of the most awe inspiring sights I've seen is the Milky Way glowing in the night sky above the Dwarf Cypress Forest in Everglades National Park. The focal point of this image is the "Z Tree" which is thought to be a Native American trail marker but even the park rangers aren't absolutely sure of its origins. To me this only adds to the mystery and aura of this unique and beautiful tree. Seeing it in person one can sense an almost sacred aura around it that transcends time and space.

I grew up in Florida right next to the Everglades and although I photograph a wide variety of subjects and locations, the Florida Everglades will always be my first love.
