A night view of the Downtown Fort Lauderdale skyline as seen from the 17th Street Causeway Bridge near the Pier 66 Hotel and Marina. A crescent moon and stars were out and the cool breezes coming in from the ocean made me want to stay all night. The 15th Street Fisheries is in the foreground and is located right on the Intracoastal Waterway making it a popular destination for boats and yachts. In fact, it's actually a normal thing here in Fort Lauderdale for people to arrive at restaurants and other establishments by boat and water taxi. This makes Fort Lauderdale's nickname The Venice of America all the more appropriate.
