LAS OLAS BOULEVARD
A typical weekend afternoon on Las Olas Boulevard in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Las Olas Boulevard begins in the historical neighborhood of Sailboat Bend and runs all the way to Fort Lauderdale Beach. The most well known section of Las Olas Boulevard is the mile long shopping district, which is considered by many to be the heart of the city. It features a mile of upscale shops, restaurants, cafes, and art museums. Las Olas Boulevard is busiest on Friday and Saturday nights but is also popular during the week where you can experience it with less traffic.
My name is Mark Andrew Thomas and I'm a photographer and filmmaker currently residing in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I grew up in Florida right next to the Everglades and although I photograph a wide variety of subjects and locations, the Florida Everglades will always be my first love.
