HAWK ENCOUNTER
A Red Shouldered Hawk perches on a branch only a few feet from me giving me a wonderful opportunity to observe this beautiful bird. One thing I noticed is that these hawks are always on the alert for any sound or movement. The video footage I have shows it constantly looking up and down and side to side and even looking backwards. It makes me wonder if they ever sleep lol.
