FLOWER MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE

The various phases of the Flower Moon lunar eclipse of 2022 as seen from Fort Lauderdale, FL. The total eclipse of the moon is also called a Blood Moon due to the reddish glow the moon takes on when covered by the earth's shadow. This eclipse was visible throughout most of North America with totality visible the longest in the Eastern United States. It's an amazing experience to sit out under a Blood Moon and know that we're witnessing a sight that has enthralled mankind since the dawn of time. From ancient man to pirate ships at sea to villages in Africa and everywhere in between, we've been watching the night sky with fascination for thousands of years. It's easy to see why when you have a front row seat to awesome celestial events such as this.
