BALD EAGLE NESTING PAIR
A pair of nesting bald eagles surveys their kingdom in the Florida Everglades. Male and female Bald Eagles have identical colors and markings although the mature female is slightly larger than the male. The wingspan of the Bald Eagle can reach an impressive 7 feet. The Bald Eagle was once on the brink of extinction but thankfully their numbers have increased and they were removed from the endangered species list in 1995 and removed from the threatened species list in 2007.
