ANIMAL KINGDOM TREE OF LIFE
The Tree of Life Awakenings show illuminates the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Orlando, FL. The Tree of Life is the center of the park much like the Cinderella Castle within the Magic Kingdom. It is located on Discovery Island and is a 145 foot sculpture based on the Baobob Tree. Within it's massive trunk is the theater which has been home to the wonderful show "It's Tough To Be A Bug" since the park opened. At night the Tree of Life comes to life during the Awakenings show which occurs several times throughout the evening.
