ANHINGA MOON

An Anhinga perches on the branch of a tree in the Florida Everglades and seems to be looking right at the full moon. I had to position myself so that the moon would look like it was being held up by the branches and I had actually planned this shot the day before. What I didn't plan on was the extra bonus of the Anhinga which was really awesome to see.

I grew up in Florida right next to the Everglades and although I photograph a wide variety of subjects and locations, the Florida Everglades will always be my first love.
